🤝 From Wisconsin Finance Graduate to Menomonie Agent: Meet Sam Gearing
I became a State Farm Agent in Menomonie in 2010, bringing my background in Finance from the University of Wisconsin–Madison to a career focused on helping people understand insurance.
My wife and I have lived in Dunn County for 18 years, raising our three children here and watching them attend Menomonie schools. We were drawn to the area's country lifestyle, and over the years, this community has become an important part of both our family life and my career.
Experience extends throughout our office. I bring 16 years of insurance experience, Julie brings 13 years, and Kaitlin, Angie, and Ethan each bring three years. Together, our team has 38 years of combined State Farm insurance experience, all working directly from our Menomonie location.
Community involvement is especially meaningful to me. I have volunteered with Junior Achievement for 15 years, speaking in more than 80 classrooms and helping teach economic and financial concepts to over 2,000 students, from second grade through high school. In 2018, I was honored to receive the Junior Achievement Hero of the Year recognition.
I also enjoy staying connected to the area as a coach for the Menomonie Trap Team and a committee member for the Whitetails Unlimited banquet. Our agency is accredited by the Better Business Bureau (BBB), adding another credential to our professional background.
